Albert Antal of Flin Flon passed away Saturday July 15, 2023 at the Flin Flon General Hospital at the age of 83 years.

Albert was born in St. Brieux, Sk on April 17, 1940 and spent his early years growing up on his parent's farm with his sister and two brothers. In 1964, he married Doreen Assié and they welcomed their first child, Mona in 1965. In the winter of 1967/68, Bert moved to Flin Flon, MB to work for HBM&S "just for the winter" to make some money. He decided to stay in Flin Flon and moved his family there not long after. In 1969, Bert and Doreen had their second daughter, Sandy. Life was filled with work and family fun for many years. Sadly, Sandy passed away in 1984 and Doreen in 1990. Bert's pride and joy were his twin grandchildren, Ally and Matt. He experienced many adventures with them. Bert was a quiet, unassuming man who enjoyed helping people when he could and giving his all to his family. He will be missed for his kind and generous heart, quirky sense of humour and his infinite knowledge in how to fix things! His love and loyalty knew no bounds. Rest easy, Dad. We love you xoxo
