During the summer he would golf everyday with his buddies. When he was in Esterhazy visiting family, Bill was always up for a round of golf with his wife, sister, brother-in-law, nephews and could be seen golfing on one of the courses in the area.
Bonnie met Bill when she returned to Flin Flon for a visit. They became a couple soon after. Bill was a great father to Bonnie's son Chris along with being a great Dad to his daughter Julie.
Over the years Bill and his wife Bonnie spent time travelling to Florida visiting and golfing with his sister and brother-in-law. Spending the winter months in Osoyoos, BC golfing and visiting with sister-in-law Cheryl. Bill and Bonnie travelled to Europe for a holiday to visit the community in Wales where his dad was born and grew up, and they visited friends and family in England.
