Edward Pearson was born to Lucille and Clifford Pearson at the Flin Flon General Hosp, Oct 30, 1945 and passed away Dec 8 2025 at PCH Flin Flon.
Eddie ( as he was known to friends and family) was a proud lifelong Flin Flonner and remained a steadfast ambassador of the city wherever his travels took him. Early years saw Ed develop friendships that lasted ... with a few being Bob, Poz, Randy, another Bob and many more . Eddie was a man that was notoriously kind and generous, and rarely had a cross word to say about anyone ... except for maybe an odd politician ! Ed worked hard all of his life on construction and seemed to settle into a good working relationship for many years with the Broda Construction bunch. With his work he travelled to many places and made friends with coworkers easily, and enjoyed visiting and reminiscing after the job was done. Being the easygoing guy he was however, ended when a fishing rod jumped into his hand. Then he became a fierce competitor and bets were on for first fish, biggest fish and any other variation he could imagine. Fact was he was a darn good fisherman ... and humbly proud of it ! Anyone who knew Ed would be amazed at his optimism to win the lottery by the amount of tickets stuffed in his pockets. Card games were another interest that he was proficient at and maybe even somewhat competitive.
Family was important to Ed and he found time for extended visits in Sask/Alberta/BC to reconnect and have many laughs and adventures . Many of these trips he was accompanied by his Flin Flon aunt/uncle who had a special bond with him and maybe checked his adventurous spirit somewhat. Annual summer camping/fishing trips with his Alberta cousins always had some new twist to make it a memorable event, with Eddie somehow providing the mix.
What a life fully lived! So to you, Eddie, we raise our glass and may you rest in peace , Cheers.
