Eugene Ernest Zarazun

April 26, 1943 to August 21, 2024

It is with great sadness to share the passing of Eugene (Gene) Zarazun in Flin Flon, Manitoba at the age of 81.  Gene was born in Canora, Saskatchewan.  He worked for Modern Dairies for many years serving the local community of Flin Flon and surrounding rural area.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Ann Zarazun,  brother Ben Zarazun. He is survived by his two children; daughter Cary McCann (grandson Dylan McCann), son Mark Zarazun, brother Jim Zarazun, a sister-in-law Gail Zarazun, and nephews and niece.

Gene was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors.  He was known for his keen sense of humour and sharp wit.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to your choice of the Woman's Safe Haven, 228-35 Main Street, Flin Flon, Manitoba, R8A 1J7 or to Lord's Bounty Food Bank, 2 Hiawatha Avenue, Flin Flon, Manitoba, R8A 0X3.

Eugene Zarazun will be laid to rest on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 2:00 pm at East Hillside Cemetery.
