Irene Toner

(Martha) Irene Toner of Creighton, Saskatchewan passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the age of 93 years.

Irene leaves to cherish her memory son Gerald as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families and many valued and cherished friends.

Irene was predeceased by her husband Charles “Bud” Toner, January 18, 2008 and her oldest son Dan, March 24, 2010.

Irene was born May 11, 1928 at Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. The youngest of 9 children born to Samuel and Margaret Collins who had immigrated from Ireland in 1927. Irene was the last remaining of the Collins clan.

Irene met Charles “Bud” Toner in Flin Flon and they were married on January 27, 1951. Together they raised two sons Dan & Gerald.

A private family service for Irene will be held at a later date.

If friends so desire memorial tributes may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
