Jack's family would like to share the eulogy that was read at his service by his daughter Rhonda and his granddaughter Hannah:

Hello family and friends. Thank you for joining us in celebrating the life of Jack Chrisp. Jack was born in Flin Flon and lived amongst many of you here today. On behalf of our family, we will be sharing some of Jack's life with you. Jack had 3 daughters. I'm Rhonda, the middle daughter, the one that gave him most of his grey hair.

I'm Hannah, I am Jack's eldest granddaughter, the Winnipeg hockey player who Jack was always cheering for from afar.

He grew up in a very active neighbourhood of Mile 84, with around 50 kids, many of whom remain life long friends. He often laughed while sharing stories about his old neighbourhood.

He was the middle child, with eldest sister Karen and younger sister Channa. Later in life, he found out he had an older brother, Brian. They spent a lot of time at their cottage being lake kids. His mom was a great baker and this is where he got his love of sweets.

When he was 18, he started working at HBM&S, where he worked for 41 years. He enjoyed his co-workers, loved coffee-ing and getting caught up with everyone and with all of the town news. He was the wandering mechanic. He loved to talk.

Jack loved vehicles, staying active and style. He was always looking at bikes, cars and trucks in his magazines. He spent a lot of time throughout his life around vehicles, whether cleaning them or collecting toy versions. He loved his GTO car and talked about it, saying that selling it was one of his worst decisions.

He loved being outside and going for walks. If he wasn't on a walk, you could find him working out in Jack's Gym in the basement. He was an active bowler and after retiring, he took up golfing which he really enjoyed. Then, he decided to buy a fat boy which he would take on bike trips.

In his younger days, he was often compared to Hulk Hogan with his iodine and baby oil to tan and his sun in in his hair.

Jack got married at the age of 21 to Sue and was married for 55 years. Together they started their family having 3 girls: Tracy, Rhonda and Amber.

As a young family, they spent a lot of time at home, playing, laughing and raising the 3 daughters. When they weren't at home, they loved to go camping, spending time at the cottage and playing sports.

Jack was very active with his daughter's sports. He coached baseball, ringette and hockey. He was a very intense ball coach but would take his team for ice cream, even after a bad loss.

Jack volunteered on many boards including the Flin Flon Softball Association, Minor Hockey Association and with the Flin Flon Bombers for many years. He also took in the Bomber billets and shared many laughs and good times.

He was also involved in starting the ringette association and loved to volunteer at the Creighton Bingo fundraisers for sports teams. The best part was that he was able to talk and visit with all the old ladies.

Jack was so excited and proud to be a grandfather. He loved spending time teaching and playing with the kids. He always wanted to know what they were up to and how they were doing in their sports. He always wanted to know how the Winnipeg grandkids, Carson, Hannah, Emma and Tessa were doing. He loved spending time with his Flin Flon grandkids, Zachary, Aidan, and Eli. He was a very involved grandpa and a big part of their lives.

Jack will be missed dearly by his family and friends and would have loved that all of you are here today. He will be remembered for his passion, love and charisma.
