Karen was born in Flin Flon on November 23, 1945, to Ruth and Bert Jackson.
On November 26, 2025, she passed away after surrendering to cancer.
She is survived by her sons Kenny Jackson and Peter Stoltz. Also surviving her are her brothers, Garry, Rick (Linda), Brad (Bev); sisters Colleen, Maureen (Laurence), Carol Ann (Ed); sisters-in-law Joyce and Michelle (Wayne); and her faithful dog "Baby".
She was predeceased by brothers Ray (Glenda), Wayne, sister-in-law Evelyn, her sister Lori, and niece Nicole (Rick). As well she has many nephews and nieces that have many memories of "Auntie Karen".
Karen had many adventures in life in different parts of Canada but spent most of her time in Flin Flon where she was loved and respected. She was an honourable woman. She loved feeding "her" ravens of which she thought one was a reincarnation of her father Bert. She was a master lefse maker and cabbage roll baker - skills she passed on to her family. She was a free spirit who will be deeply missed. She had a life well lived.
Rest in peace Karen - your memory will live on.
Always my mother, forever my friend.
A service for Karen will be held at a later date.
