Kenneth Wayne Shoemaker

We are sad to announce Kenneth Wayne Shoemaker passed away on June 5, 2023 at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, British Columbia at the age of 84 years.

Although Ken lived out his life in Kamloops, his home and fond memories were of his days in Flin Flon.

He spent most of his working life as the City Administrator for the City of Flin Flon. A yearly fishing trip came about as a result.

The Rotary Club was also a big part of his life. Radio Bingo filled many weekends for Ken.

Entertaining a large extended family around the kitchen table is where he and Helen could be found. That table and the memories are what made Flin Flon home.

A private family service for Ken Shoemaker will be held at a later date.
