Lillian "Lil" Mardell

It is with deep sadness, the family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lillian Mardell, at the Northern Lights Manor in Flin Flon.

Lil is survived by her cherished children, Diane Martin (Dan), Jim Mardell (Laura) and Bev Martin (Randy); her grandchildren, Jamie (Colin), Josh, Alyssa (Allan), Amanda (Landon), Taylor and Amber; and her great-grandchildren, Hayden, Liam, Jagger, Soren, Marlee and Romy.

Lil is predeceased by her loving husband Archie of 48 years; her parents, Oscar and Bertha; and her sisters, Irene and Evie.

Lil was born in 1932 in McElhaney, SK and moved to Flin Flon where she met the love of her life, Archie.  Lil lived a long and full life; a loving mother and homemaker. Lil cared deeply for her family, friends, and neighbors. She was a well-loved member of the community.

To honor our mother’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.  We invite you to please privately celebrate Lil’s memory in your own ways. A family interment will occur at a later date.
