Lyle Edwards Mitchell - Keremeos, BC

Lyle's family is deeply saddened to announce his passing on January 17, 2026 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 67. Born in Flin Flon January 1, 1959 to Matilda and Stuart Mitchell, Lyle grew up surrounded by siblings Les, Deb and Lori, whom he leaves to cherish his memory.

Lyle was a dedicated husband to wife Cheri, his high school sweetheart, and a devoted father to Tyler and Stefani. An incredibly hardworking man who also knew the value of fun and adventure, Lyle loved to make plans and always had a new idea to share. His generosity, sense of humour, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten.

A funeral service will be held on March 21 at 11AM, at Our Lady of Lourdes in Keremeos, BC. Ashes are to be buried later in Kenora, ON, amidst other family burial plots. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the BC Cancer Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada in Lyle’s memory.
