Rosemary Reynolds

In Loving Memory of
Rosemary Reynolds 
December 12, 1936 - January 11, 2026

It is with great sadness we mourn the loss of Rosemary Reynolds who passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026 in Flin Flon Manitoba at the age of 89. 

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Brenda and son-in-law John Bouchard, her son, Wayne and daughter-in-law Roxy, her granddaughter Rikki Reynolds and partner Shane Donaldson and grandson, Riley Reynolds, as well as, nieces, nephews and friends.

Rosemary was predeceased by her parents, Arthur Pickworth (May, 1974) and Mary Pickworth (May, 1979), husband Delmer Reynolds (October, 2005), in-laws Thomas and Katherine Reynolds, sisters-and brothers-in-law and a nephew.

Rosemary was born in Flin Flon on December 12, 1936.  She was the cherished only child of Arthur and Mary Pickworth and resided in Flin Flon her entire life.  She attended Main School for grades 1-6 and graduated from Hapnot Collegiate in 1954.  After graduating she worked at Burkett’s Drugstore and later in life The Bay and Sears.

On May 4, 1957, she married Delmar Reynolds and, in the spring of 1959, their daughter Brenda was born, followed by the birth of their son Wayne in the fall of 1961.  Rosemary was a loving and caring mother and wife.  She took pride in being a stay-at-home Mom and devoted her time to being a homemaker and raising her two children.  She was always available to support and partake in family activities.

Over the course of her life, Rosemary enjoyed participating in many social activities.  In her youth, she was active in the Anglican Young People’s Association.  She participated in Brownies, Girl Guides and Rangers, achieving their highest levels of distinction.  As an adult, she was a member of both the Ross Lake and WillowPark Ladies Curling Clubs, North Star Rebekah Lodge and Hot Shots Bowling League.

Her favourite pastimes included reading, knitting, gardening, watching TV (especially curling), baking, canning, bingo, and attending meat draws.  Her happiest times were spent with family and friends, whether it was spending time together at the cabin or sitting around the kitchen table.  She always enjoyed and appreciated being surrounded by good friends and the people she loved most.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and thanks to the residents of Legion Housing, where Mom resided for almost 30 years.  You were her extended family, always there to lend a hand.  To the Home Care Team, your compassion, understanding and professionalism gave Mom the ability to live independently, which meant a great deal to her, until her passing.

For those who wish to join us, a Celebration of Life will take place at Legion Housing, 229 Green St., on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
