Sherry Lynn Castellas nee Ayling was born on January 19, 1961 in Medicine Hat, to Tom and Irene Ayling. She was forced to grow up early, and attended high school until she decided to start working instead. Before she was 18, she was hired in Cranberry Portage to run the kitchen facility at Frontier Collegiate. She then went looking for work in Winnipeg, followed by Edmonton where she met her love of her life Cliff. They worked together in the kitchen at the Terrace Inn until they decided to move to GTA, where yet another kitchen awaited them in Unionville. They were married there in 1986 and had many great years in their home on Wagners Lake with many friends and family nearby.
Sherry was always a dog lover and had many throughout the years. Blizzard, Tuk, Tara, Dakota among them. When she decided to move back to her hometown to be near family and friends, she was an avid fosterer of pups and cats in danger.
She was a wonderful daughter, sister and friend to all. She lived her life with a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. The world is a lesser place now without her in it. We encourage friends and family to leave a comment or picture.
Sherry is predeceased by her father Tom Ayling, mother Irene Petalik and sister Terry Ayling.
She is survived by her brother Lee (Kristina) Ayling of Flin Flon and sister Tracy Ayling of Vancouver as well as Cliff Castellas of Wagners Lake and many nieces, nephews, cousins, loving in laws and friends.
May you rest in peace dear Sherry, free from the pain that plagued you in life.
