It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stacey Jane Hyndman on December 31, 2025, at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 56.
Stacey was a beloved wife, stepmother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She was also an aunt, cousin, friend, boss, and so much more to those who knew and loved her. Known for her warmth, generosity, and deep connection to her community, Stacey gave freely of her time, energy, and heart.
She leaves behind her husband, Doug Peterson; her parents, Dennis and Patricia (née Petersen); her sisters, Denny and Miranda (Evan Bowman); her stepsons, Shaun and Kevin; and her granddaughter, Penny, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
In keeping with Stacey’s love of community, friends who wish to do so may make donations to organizations that were close to her heart: Phantom Lake Golf Course, Box 40, Flin Flon, MB R8A 1M7, where she found joy and connection; or the Flin Flon Arts Council, 2 North Avenue, Flin Flon, MB R8A 0T1, reflecting her passion for and support of creativity and the arts.
A Celebration of Life for Stacey will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11:00AM from the Flin Flon Community Hall, 2 North Avenue, Flin Flon Manitoba.
