Virginia Margaret Johannes (Williams) ,was born in the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg on February 1st.
1947,daughter of Della and Thompson Williams of Oxford House, Manitoba.
Peacefully on August 23rd, 2023 at 10:53 pm. at the Flin Flon General Hospital, Virginia Johannes
passed away after a brief battle with cancer. She fought this disease to the end with courage and
without fear. She will be remembered by many friends and all of her family.
Virginia is pre-deceased by husband; Ross Johannes and common law husband James
Elder. Brothers Michael and Abel Williams. Parents Della and Thompson Williams.
Virginia is survived by brothers Larry Williams, brother Donald Williams, brother Jimmy Williams.
Sons; Darryl Williams (Lori) and Dwayne Williams (Michelle) and daughter Stacey Elder (Andy)
Grandchildren; Dwayne Williams Jr., Daylan Williams, Dillon Williams, Tori Como, Darryl
James Emerson Williams, Hunter Clay Williams, Matthew Jarvie, Brandon Jarvie, Kingsley

Funeral service will be held at the Flin Flon Chapel officiated by Mr. Bob Hay on Tuesday, August 29,
2023 at 1:00 pm.
Honorary pallbearers; all of Virginia's family and friends.
Interment will take place in Ilford, Manitoba at a later date.
